During his early days of law practice he spent thirteen years with the U.S. Justice Department in the Organized Crime Section in Washington D.C., New York, N.Y., New Orleans, La. and the Northern District of Texas. During several of his ten years as a prosecutor with the Northern District of Texas, he was Chief of the Criminal Division.
For the past 25+ years he has represented citizens accused of all types of federal criminal offenses including:
He is a native Texan, and a graduate of Rice University and the University of Texas School of Law. He served in the U.S. Army for several years, honorably discharged as a Captain in Intelligence Branch.
